Alliance Monthly Updates Now Available:
IPEC Performance for Data Submission Timeliness

The Alliance is pleased to announce that monthly updates of IPEC performance information for data submission (form and query) timeliness are now being provided to PI (Principal Investigators) and Lead CRPs (Clinical Research Professionals) of all active members via email. The monthly report is sent on the first Monday of each month.

The e-mail body contains a brief summary of data and includes an attached Excel file with detailed data for form and query submission timeliness. The Excel spreadsheet contains four tabs:

  • PI Report: Includes data for the “Last Month”, Last 6 Months”, “All Data”, “Current IPEC Reporting Period” and “Total Outstanding” for forms and queries.  An explanation of the data included in each column is available by clicking on “Click here for definition” found under each column header. The information is provided for each performance site within the member network (affiliates, sub-affiliates, etc).   Cells highlighted in red indicates submission timeliness is below the 75% threshold.
  • PI Form Figure: Includes a line graph comparing the member network performance against the overall Alliance member performance over a 12 month period for forms.
  • PI Query Figure: Includes a line graph comparing the member network performance against the overall Alliance member performance over a 12 month period for queries.
  • CRP Report: Includes the same information as found on the PI report but breaks down the information by performance site and study. If patient-specific detail is required, the CRP will need to go to the “Overdue Materials Report” available on the Alliance website.

Please send any feedback and/or suggestions for improvements to membership@AllianceNCTN.org.

If you fail to receive the monthly e-mail, check your spam folder or quarantined mail. Only PIs and Lead CRPs will receive the e-mail if rostered to the Tier I site with the appropriate role.
